|Listen to what Laura has to say:||Laura Routlegde had lost five loved ones in 13 months, and was filled with confusion and fear. Now - "I have a feeling of well being that hasn't been there in a very long time. It's going to be another cycle of life that's going to be far more meaningful …successful…happy…productive…and far more contributing than it's been…This is the best decision I've made for a number of years. It has just been so good for me. To me, what I think of it as is the inner diamond. It's there – you just have to find your way to it." - Laura Routledge, Alberta, Canada|
"When I first heard Scout say, "The opposite of hopelessness is knowing", I was intrigued, could sort of understand it at an intellectual level, but it didn't resonate within me; I couldn't seem to truly understand what it meant.
After an amazing session working with Scout today on a deep core anxiety I have had, now I totally get what she meant at a level I could not have previously imagined.
It's a feeling of lightness in my body and spirit, replacing a sense of heaviness and despair. It's a feeling of realness, a solid KNOWING right to my core about what is now true and feels sort of new, but yet is not new because it is what my spirit has known all along. There is a feeling of incredulousness in this new reality, yet the feeling is also very solid and deep, because it feels like I have connected to a deep inner place that is not my mind, not my thoughts. It is who I am as a being, as a spirit, as a life force. Scout's work has given me the powerful, heart-felt experience of knowing what KNOWING is, not just a cognitive impression of what I had 'thought' it might be. And so that KNOWING erases the hopelessness because they just can't be experienced at the same time. They are two different experiences of life.
Thank you, Scout, for your profound gift today."

"I first came to Scout because I was tired of beating myself up for any mistake that I made. Although I did my job well, had a great relationship and a good balance of play and work, I just couldn't let myself alone if I had made a decision that was less than perfect. This was mainly internal, just always re-visiting the mistake and saying, 'I should have done that differently' over and over again. Often it would even wake me up at night, with no solution, simply a continuous condemnation. Being an intelligent person, I realized that there is no merit in this.
Working with Scout through neurological re-patterning, I have seen a dramatic difference in the way I deal with so many things. As she explained it, this method goes right down to the foundation of who I am and re-builds some basic premises that have been with me since childhood. Now if this sounds scary because you don't want to change who you are, it's not. I have always liked who I am and only wanted to be nicer to myself, which I think is actually quite common.
In my case, I changed my foundation belief from 'You are capable and you should always do it right' to 'You are capable, do your best and move on.' Perhaps this sounds like a simple little change but it is a huge change when it comes to my inner peace. Huge. This does not mean that I do not hold myself to a high standard. I still do. But when I make a mistake, I recognize it, correct what needs to be corrected and move on. I don't spend the endless hours thinking, 'I should have.' Even a century of life is short. I am so grateful that I will no longer be wasting mine on that self-recrimination.
As an added benefit, I find myself able to start new challenging projects that in the past I didn't want to try because I might not complete them perfectly. I guess deep down I knew that I would not rest if it was not perfect. Now I feel that I can do my best, which is actually quite good, and move on. It is freeing.
Life is still life and is not always perfect, thankfully. But I see this core change in myself everywhere. If I do make a mistake and start to berate myself, I recognize it and have the ability to look at it, let it go, and move on. I am so grateful for this change.
I heartily recommend working with Scout. Her method has proven results. Her kindness and enthusiasm for her work is a pleasure to work with."
"I was convinced this was important work to do – with an emphasis, in my mind, on work. Yes, it was work – and I was so surprised and delighted to have it turn out to be fun at the same time. Whenever I looked up and saw you beaming at the wonderful new decisions I had found inside, about myself and my future, I had to beam right back…what elegant, yummy work it is!"

"What I have learned from Scout is, to make your own path. But, if I need help or am hesitant about a decision, to go to her! Support, Support, Support is what Scout is all about. Her words are powerful, moving and uplifting. She is dedicated to her work, helping people get what they want in life, and she is good at it! I did her goal setting segment and I could see my goal in my hand, it brought tears to my eyes. It left me speechless; it's an incredible feeling. Scout is one of the most caring, beautiful and inspiring people I have met, and I'm so glad she's in my life. Thanks Scout!"

"Scout has the ability to cut to the chase and help you see and deal with the real issues. Even when I feel stuck in a fog, Scout has the unique gift to bring clarity and guidance. She knows when to speak, and when to remain silent, and so often knows the right question to ask at just the right time."

"Looking back, it is hard for me to believe the amount of personal growth I have gained working with Scout. When I first contacted Scout, I was filled with inner confusion, mixed internal messages and I based most of my decisions on fear. As I move closer to realizing my dreams, I am making choices by trusting my inner wisdom and decisions are based on honesty and integrity.
I am so thankful that I have Scout in my corner. Through active listening, emotional and practical support, and contagious enthusiasm for my plans, she has assisted me to take giant steps in areas that I am passionate about. She has never faltered in being there for me on "up" days and on "down" days. This journey with her has been such a rewarding experience. Thank you Scout for your invaluable guidance!"
